Dear folks,

since I will leave now for some days let me inform you how the forum will be maintained in the next days.

It is my obligation to tell you the sad news that the dad of our mod Walter passed away. Walter will not be around for some time. FrBrGr, White Fox and other mods will look on the forum when I am not around.

Please be so kind and follow the Den's CoC!

Thank you all for your participation and many thanks to the site owner FrBrGr and the admins and mods of the Den, that we may have our little forum here.

In 2007 we will intensify our efforts to get an own site.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Stay fuzzy and take care!

Woolly greetings,
Joe Al

***First off, I just want to let Walter know here that we are thinking of him. He will see it when he comes back at least. It is always so difficult to lose someone close like that. However, even worse at Christmas. I have gone through that myself, and know just how difficult that this is going to be for Walter for a long while. Walter, we are all thinking of you here at your difficult time.

***Since many of our mods are taking time off over the holidays etc., it is difficult to watch over everything. You will notice that a number of mods can work here now. I just wanted to let you know that it is not because you folks do not follow the rules. Just that we should have at least one mod available in case something comes up.

Merry Christmas all. Have a great holiday. And please think of Walter right now as well.

Thanks
White Fox

Folks, with so many of you leaving now and then for vacation times, I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you all. May the new year bring you a brand new site for you to love and enjoy rather than being stuck at the bottom of a crazy "Fur Site"!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays one and all! I do hear that Santa has gained weight this year and I was really worried that might cause problems. But then found out that this year Vixen has the job of using his hoofs to beat Santa right down the chimney with his hooves!

I just wanted to visit friends. I have not the time to mod for the moment, but I owe you the respect of dropping in, at least.

Thanks for your sympathy, it is very welcome. And thanks to you ReFur, you know how it is.

Luckily, my dad got to the respectable age of 83, and very, very many of those years were good. He married mum almost 60 years ago, and loved her to the end. He got to indulge in his hobbies, especially his love for football (soccer, we even went to Manchester, England to see United when he was 75 - that is cool, even if I'm a Gunner myself). Myself, I had a close relationship to him, even if I'm the youngest kid at a mere 40. We had no conflicts, and looking back, I will have a lot of fond memories.

Right now, I miss him. But I'm not bitter, and not depressed. After all, this is something we all have to go through, unless we're damned unlucky and go first. I focus on the living, particularly my mum and siblings. I have a lot of friends, and even if I'm single, I do not feel alone at all.

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I will be back, and - as Joe Al said - we will have Melody back next year.

Yours,
Walter

I'm coming back soon, with a vengeance. One of the things my dad taught me, was to indulge in your hobbies and interests. You may not get rich, you may not get famous - but you get to do things you like. And that is what makes life worth living.

We have set up several preliminary things. And - I hope Joe won't get mad at me for revealing this - we think we can get back old Melody in all her glory. Not just a new substitute. No New Coke here, we go for Classic.
