All I was trying to do was reorganize my collection of sweater pics, when suddenly, due to hitting the wrong button at the wrong time... IT ALL WENT AWAY!
Over 200 of the best pictures culled from the internet since 2001, GONE! I thought about trying some kind of recovery program, but finally decided it wasn't worth the effort. There were a few left over and I'm using those as a starting point for a new collection. If I really feel the need, some of my old collection was backed up to CD. Still, it was kind of a crappy hand I was dealt. I'll have to be much more careful from now on.
So anyways, thanks for listening...

TMJ, I feel your pain. Been there, done that. Have lost a total of 600 primo pix over the years due to corrupted zip cartridges. The only good news is that the good stuff keeps getting reposted.

That would be frustrating

I hope you find some of your favorites again- check you may have more on CD than you think - I once deleted a great series and remembered I had it on Disk as well

Hi themattjon,

sorry to hear you lost your favorite pics, but glad you wrote this!

You know folks that it is highly recommened to backup your data, not only your pics but the rest as well. Use DVDs or (big and cheap) external HDs and be sure not only to buy the stuff but use it as well
