I do agree, and sweaters really shouldn't be any weirder than preferences for stockings, high heels or favourite parts of the female anatomy. But it is a tiny bit less usual to talk about it in the open, and speaking for myself, I sometimes feel like I'm revealing a vulnerable spot when I at rare times confide my fetish or preference to a woman. A bright woman I once told about my fetish just laughed and said "that's not a fetish. Sweaters are supposed to be sexy." :D In her opinion, strange fetishes are those directed to items that are not supposed to be sexy, like sneakers, rubber boots and such.

Still many women seem surprised to have compliment to their wool garments. And if it is a tight sweater, many seem to think that it is really about tits. #-o

But I stroke pretty lucky with a girl this weekend wearing a long, grey, slightly thick sweaterdress with a turtleneck and short sleeves, knee length. As I guessed, it was a pretty expensive design piece (she told me where she'd got it, and I know the shop, no cheap or even reasonably priced items in the entire store) and it turned out nobody else had said a thing about it all night... As we already had hit it off at the bar, I just told her directly that it was a great dress and she looked fabulous in it. :D

Hi everyone,

I didnt mean for people to walk round with a big sign saing "I GET TURNED ON WHEN YOU WEAR A SWEATER".

What I was trying to say is a lot of people I have spoken to dont know how or where to start speaking to a woman about sweaters. I was meaning to say that if you start small by just saying to maybe co workers, or the lady who works in the coffee shop that you may say good morning to every once in a while, "wow you look nice today, the colour of your sweater really suits you". Most women can not resist a compliment, so by just saying she looks nice in the sweater she is wearing is breaking the ice and making some of the guys I have spoken to feel a little more at ease when it does come to telling someone special that thier love of sweaters is a little more than "that colour really suits you".

Plus you never know if you tell them the colour really suits them, they may wear it more often.

...or you could just try: "wow you look nice today, your breasts just look so fabulous in that soft pink wool!"
Which is what you're thinking, but may not lead to a lasting relationship!

Mine is also a rather tall brunette, who wears tight and thick turtlenecks, almost all the time from september till april.

Nice working with her

There are two secretaries at my office who wear them all the time. I always had this fantasy when I am the boss somewhere I could put it in the girls contract as a dresscode to only wear turtlenecks and tight cowlnecks hahaha

Great topic. For me it an older (50ish) women, named Dot, who wears a red sleeveless bulky turtleneck and black leather pants every now and again. The second that I walk through the elevator I peer to my right in hopes of seeing her in her sweater outfit. She is not super attractive under normal conditions, but to see her in this turtleneck and leather pants, makes coming into work much more enjoyable. If the other women in my office followed Dot's example, there would be so much to look forward to during the fall and winter months. I will do my best to get a pic the next time she wears this outfit.
