mohairknitter web site
Re: mohairknitter web site
Marcelo,
Isobel was a welcome addition to the wool community in the mid 2000s, contributing great images and, apparently, great knitwear. It all went sour - she obviously lost the plot, ripping off several people, me included.
Don't know where she's ended up and I'm now over the lost dollars. Still, would be curious if she's re-emerged and 'selling' stuff again. Would be worth warning others of her past record.
Jumbuck.

Re: mohairknitter web site
I tried to buy something from her through eBay in 2009. After I paid for the item, she promised to send me the tracking information for the package. That never happened and the package never arrived. She claimed to have knit a second item for me and put it in the mail - it never arrived either.
Luckily I started a PayPal dispute while all of this was going on. I got the impression she was making false promises in order to run down the clock on my chance to initiate the dispute with PayPal. I did get my money back but the whole experience was a bit of a nightmare. How hard can it be to send the products you sell on the internet? Why would anyone choose to create a world-wide reputation for herself as a rip-off artist?
Anyone looking to buy from "Mohairknitter" should do him/herself a favour and contact papillionbabyuk instead through eBay and avoid Isobel like the plague!
