Classic Vidcaps & More

Hi All,

Just started playing with a nifty framegrab utility that works with DVD's. So I revisted three of my all-time fave films for fuzzy fun - Straw Dogs, Hard Day's Night and Animal House.

Took some photoshopping to bring out detail but the results aren't half bad; well, better than lifts from VHS or TV. You can view the results at < http://heerleaders.fotopic.net/ >.

Caution - some other random fuzzy finds, some with xx nudity, are thrown in because I'm an idiot and didn't upload them to a separate collection.

Enjoy, Fuzzfan

Hi Fuzzfan,

many thanks! As long as the "hotter" pics do not show up on the front page that should not be a problem here.

IMHO it should be possible to get better results from DVD caps, have you set all options (of there are any) to the largest resolution?

Woolly greetings,
Joe Al

Regrettably,Joe Al, that's the best this utility and my graphics card seem to allow. I'll leave it for more techno-savvy types to launch a serious vidcap site.
