Can you help identify this knitwear?
Hello & thanks for reading my post. Just joined as I can see a lot of knowledge here and I have a piece of knitwear I'm really stumped on. I don't recognise the style, region, or age, in fact anything at all.
The swing design reminds me a little of Mary Farrin, and possibly 1970's, but I'm not at all sure this is by her. No labels on it at all, but I'm not sure it is handmade either.
Does anybody have any info or ideas about country / age / designer etc?
A point of note is that the cardigan is weighted all around the hem with a seperate weight in every circle you can see. It's also got beading to the yoke.
