Co-Workers
Just a thread, 'cause I know you all have one;)
Mine we'll call... May. She has a very low body temp (96.8 on average), so she's almost always freezing (even in the summer). Three guesses how she deals with this and the first two don't count!
She obviously has quite a collection and even makes her own, but my three favorites of hers are:
A thick, cream-colored, ribbed turtleneck that looks very comfortable, if a little stiff.
A beautiful, thin, teal v-neck that is literally so soft, I can't tell where the sweater ends and the air around it begins!
A gorgeous, super thick, very soft-looking Irish crew-neck sweater that I don't dare come near for fear of losing control and burying myself in;)
I only wish I had pics. It's around the time of year when a number of nice-looking co-workers are showing up in sexy sweaters and I feel frustrated that I can't just jump on them all
Anyone else here have similar situations or stories?

Yup. Mine's a tall brunette with a slim, rather sensational body. Still, my favourite is her knee length, black soft lambswool cardigan. Especially worn with her trademark black high heeled boots.
Good idea for a thread, but easy on the pics... That could be flirting with legal action.

Mine is a girl who wears turtlenecks almost every day. Summertime it is sleeveless turtles. She has multiple different styles, and I love every minute of it. We pretty much share cubes as well. Very nice to stare at her all day
Re: Co-Workers
"My" tall brunette extended her wardrobe during Christmas. Now she varies with a thick, soft, ribknit grey, long cardigan.
I have fullfilled what should be our mission; to gentlemanly and politely compliment all ladies wearing nice wool sweaters and cardis and such encourage them to wear it more. Seems like it helps, even

Re: Co-Workers
I had one but now she's my wife!
Yes, she was my co-worker before we were married.
Her favorite are cashmere sweaters from Talbots and Land's End.
But, to be honest, I'm partial to fur. So, last year, for our anniversary, I bought her a full length fur coat.
I love it when she puts on a cashmere sweater under her fur coat.
When it gets REALLY cold, she even wears them to the grocery store!
I love winter!
Just a serious note:
My wife is cold all the time because she has hypoglycemia. There isn't enough glucose/sugar in her bloodstream. The body needs sugar to generate heat and energy. There often isn't enough sugar in her system to keep her body temperature up. That's what makes her cold all the time.
If she eats several small meals during the day, spaced 3-4 hours apart, instead of three larger meals, she usually doesn't have this problem.
If your loved one seems to be cold all the time you should consider having them evaluated by a doctor.
...Then buy her lots of sweaters and fur coats!

Re: Co-Workers
Great subject. I've got a co-worker who is tall with caramel-blond hair, slightly longer than shoulder length. She wears knits all year round, and has about a half dozen very fuzzy sweaters that she wears often and looks so sexy in. When she wears them, I make every excuse to see and stare at her I can (walking by her office etc) I'm afraid to give complements on them because, although we're friendly, we don't really comment on each others' clothing or appearance. It's possible she would think I'm weird and stop wearing them so as to discourage the whole thing... It does seem like so far this winter she is wearing the fuzzy ones (my favs) less often, and it seems like this is the fashion trend in general. Also, I am married, and my wife has several great sweaters too, but she seems to wear the fuzziest ones less often too this year...anyone else notice this horrible trend, or is it just my small sample-size?
Re: Co-Workers
Giving compliments in a casual and honest way took me years to master... I think I have now. Often I go for mentioning the colour or the design, which can be effective if it is a great colour or design, but too often we like simple, yet great sweaters especially on the right body. And for compliments on sweater/body, you need to know people.
I certainly see the danger of a compliment making someone feel uncomfortable and leads to the opposite of the wished result.
Here's an idea, practice on pretty girls dressing well, but not in sweaters. Nothing to lose
Here are some ground rules:
Never a false compliment. It undermines everything and particularly women tend to understand that they are false.
Make it like a casual, off-hand remark. It eases tension. For instance before you move on after a conversation ("by the way, that sweater looks great on you")
Don't overdo it, don't exclusively give compliments to girls in sweaters (I even compliment a man in sweaters or not, if I talk to someone who obviously made an effort)
Most of all, the point of a compliment is to make everyone feel well. Both the giver and receiver of a compliment. In that regard, remember that a person that makes an effort with their look does it in order to be noticed. And thus noticed by pleasing other people.
Guys, we have so many small, but signifacant ways we can improve life for eachother.....

Re: Co-Workers
Got another one: Hasn't been working too long, but wears a lot of turtlenecks (fleece included). She's been seen in a gorgeous cowlneck sweater that is striped white and grey with a faded color gradient. She also has a loosed knit (crocheted?) mohair sweater in various shades of peach, white and orange, giving a cream-sicle like appearance.
She has wavy, brown hair that reaches past her shoulders and a petite stature if that helps picture her;)

Re: Co-Workers
From a female point of view make it easy and dont pre think it to much or she will think there is something going on.
Saying something very simple like " You look nice today, that is a lovely sweater" and leave it like that.
If a female co worked had a new hair cut or colour and you thought it looked nice you would say something simple like " I like your hair, it really suits you".
I think a lot of the sweater fetish community have a problem with womens responce to thier love of sweaters because they have made themselves feel dirty or wierd in some sort of way in thier own minds that when they come to speak to women about it they pick up on the fact that you are not comfortable with it yourselves. This is not a wierd fetish, I dont even really like to call it a fetish as women wear these garments all the time in public, at work, at church even sitting having dinner with family. Now how many women walk round in stocking, suspenders and pee hole bra (or even worse)in those sorts of places?
Just my opion, you will always come across women who find it wierd whatever your sexual turn on but having an open mind yourself to start with will almost always help in making others understand yours.

Re: Co-Workers
Lovely to hear from you again, Angora Babe...
And I think your perception is interesting, as I think it depends on how much we boys want our secret to be a secret. As you say, sweaters are everwhere, at work and at play, and for me it is so fabulous that so many ladies like to show off their bodies in tight wool for me to lust over... but it is a secret lust, as otherwise I'd be cumming over half my office. (Mind you, that could be fun!)
So for me it's not dirty or weird, just secret. And so you can only talk about it to people on your wavelength (like here, or special friends) not over the water cooler...!
