We do understand there is a lot of hard work to be done yet.
Have you thought about asking The Fur Den if you could just copy their site and change the relevent headings etc, that might save a lot of headaches????? It seems there are no problems here???

Just found this discussion tonight while I was putting in some time here for once.
When we began the Fur Den, from the time AK began to create it until it came on the air it was two months. And, we almost killed AK with overwork. Like Walter said, everyone has a job. Now then, I don't know what decisions Walter and Joe Al have made as to a new site or returning in some way to the old or whatever. Yes, I know part but not all. You can see how long it took us at the Den though once it was decided.
Just bringing back the old Melody messages took weeks!
What I really wanted to say is that we are on board to help Walter and Joe Al in any way that we can. But we want to be very, very certain that the Wool site is their site! When you folks get a site again, be it a brand new "Old site" or a brand new "New Site" we will still have a backup forum for you to go to if need be. And all of us will be willing to help Joe Al and Walter in any way that we can. But that site will belong to all of you. NOT to us! We feel that is extremely important!
No doubt by now you will have noticed that we do have pictures. Yes, it works. But ask Walter mentioned, doing that is a huge undertaking due to copyright issues. Again, we can give ideas on how to do it, but it would take a staff much bigger than two people to do it. But, if some of you would be willing to help out six months from now who knows? But I must stress that what you folks need most of all is a site of your own! From them on, anything is possible!
While we were indeed working on this site I made a post in the old Melody Den in reply to Eric I believe that BrGr had great faith and I knew he would never give up til we had a site of our own that worked completely. Well, I can honestly tell you that I know that neither Walter or Joe Al will give up til you folks have just that. A real home that is not in bottom of another site! It will come and we at the Den will do everything we can to help make it happen. One way or another! But when it does it will be your site!
So don't give up. It is coming! I don't know how long, but I can guarantee you with Joe Al and Walter's drive that before long you will have a site of your own again! And until that time, we will do our very best to make you feel at home here!
