eBay pattern books - wow

Hi folks,

Seteyan posted a few links on Woolfreaks which I like to copy you here.

The sellers sell mostly vintage pattern books and there are some stunning pics. To save the pics (what some sellers try to forbid :x ) empty your browser cache before loading the pages and take the pics out of the cache later, or use a tool which "always allows right clicks" :P like "webwasher classic 3.3" and save them as always. Download WW3.3 here (free for private use, language is German and English):
http://www.zdnet.de/downloads/prg/q/n/0014QN-wc.html

Here are the links (made to look as if you come from Google  ), hurry up, some of the auctions end soon!!

Seller one
Seller two
Seller three

Warning, you will need some hours to go through all the pics   .

Woolly greetings,
Joe Al

To save I just "Save Page As" (Windows XP). The folder has all images in it.

There are many great pics!

Hi folks,

to save the pics you may as well just turn off Java Script, or use Firefox as a browser, you will find an option in Firefox which allows you to save the content of a page. Thanks to two members of Woolfreaks, who supplied these hints!

Woolly greetings,
Joe Al

Do you know, it's not so long ago that I was ticked off by someone here for posting links to ebay items that had hi-res knitwear images - and the post deleted. The reason given was that a sudden increase in bandwidth used by loads of people might be detected. Some ebay users already add spoilers to the images (CCC for instance).

So I did as I was told - just collected the images myslef - and have been posting selections of these images to my fotopic site to share with everyone else.

I haven't updated it in a while (even though there's over 250 new images to upload), as my fotopic bandwidth is quite high (22GB so far).

Bemused....

Naomi.

There's more from these sellars and more on my fotopic site.

126 images this week. I still have over 360 to post - and thats only a small selection from all the pattern images I scrape from the site each month.

I've also posted a few images from the new Great Universal catalogue site.

Oh, they're on my fotopic site at http://sweaterdress.fotopic.net/

Enjoy...
