Does anyone chat on here like they used to on the old melody or do you all just reply to the people who list links to sweater pics they have found on the net?

We do have a chat room here. I don't know the exact number of people who use it but it does get some traffic.

Last month (December) chat was in the top 20 most popular areas of our site but it hasn't seen as much activity in the month of January. Probably has a lot to do with the holidays, etc.

It would be up to the admin of this part of the site (Walter) and the membership of Melody if you wanted to come up with a means of coordinating your visits to the chat room.

One way would be to leave a forum message to say, "I'll be in the chat room from.... until..."
Another idea would be to agree on a day and time to make a regular chat night. For example, Wednesday nights from 10 PM to Midnite Eastern Time. (or whatever time was agreed upon.)

Agreeing on a regular chat night is often difficult when you have people from different parts of the world, however.

I really meant chat on the fourms, we use to have a lot of threads where people just chatted about all sorts of sweater related issues. There doesnt seem to be that much here at the moment, almost all of the posts are just thanks for the links people post.

Weeell, I see what you mean, I miss it , too. We have a few threads that are not link-related, but we can do with several more. What happened to the ever popular Greatest Sweater Moments in Films and other threads that went on for years? I do like the co-worker-thread, though. There is a lot of potential here...

We all used to chat about all things sweater related all the time. Come on everyone, we all used to be friends of sorts as well all chatted and knew what everyone liked and disliked, if people where unweel or not around for a reason then people cared and would keep everyone else updated if we knew a member wouldnt be around for a while. We where a little sweater family.

I will start a new Thread about best film moments, it may be good for some new members to find little gems they havent seen before. I can post the links to the 4 films Johnboy and myself made if Im allowed to (not sure due the the nature of them if I am allowed to post links or not)

Thankyou Walter for just replying to my post, I was worried that the old melody had gone for good.
